AHIMSA INTERNATIONAL, NEW DELHI AWARDS 2009
  Ahimsa international, on 26th April’09 organized a program to honour  distinguished Jain personalities at Shree Ram Centre Auditorium, 4 safdar Hashmi Marg, Delhi-110001 in presence of Upadhyay 108 Shree Gupti Sagar Ji and number of distinguished personalities. Following awards were distributed. Ahimsa international Deputymal Adhishwarlal Jain award in the field of Literature –Awarded to Professor Dr. Phool Chand Jain-Premi, Varanasi.
  Ahimsa international Bhagwan Das Shobha Lal Jain award in the field of Vegetarianism, Jeev Daya-- Awarded to Shri Hukam Chand Ratan Lal Sanwla, Indore.
Ahimsa international Prem Chand Jain award in the field of Nursing and medication-- Awarded to Narayan Sewa Sansthan, Udaypur.Ahimsa international Vijay Kumar Prabodh Kumar Subodh Kumar Jain in the field of Journalism-- Awarded to Shri Ravindra Malav Advocate, Gawaliar.
  Ahimsa international Harishchandra Ramesh Chandra Jain award in the field of Dharma Prabhavana -- Awarded to Dr. Rajendra Kumar Bansal, Amlai.
Ahimsa international Dhani Chandra Devandra Kumar Jain in the field of outstanding performance student -- Awarded to Kumari sonali Jain, Delhi.
  Upadhyay 108 Shree GuptiSagar Ji blessed all the awardees and emphasized the need of the hour to practice and preach non- violence towards all living beings. He also said though Jain community is extremely a minor one but tops the list of literacy and desired to 
encourage & promote the Jain students including awards for all the meritorious students at state and national level.
